Expedition Overview
Rajgir is nestled in a green, rocky valley bounded by five sacred hills: Vaibhargiri, Vipulagiri, Ratnagiri, Sonagiri, and Udayagiri. A trek up to Griddhakuta (Vulture's Peak) or along the ancient 40km Cyclopean Wall offers a stunning combination of raw nature, exercise, and ancient history. You can walk through rugged paths traveled by Gautama Buddha and Emperor Bimbisara. The paths are filled with beautiful forests, rocky terrains, caves, and ancient fortifications dating back over 2,500 years.
